I am pickling jalapenos and banana peppers and would like to know how to keep them crispy? - canning pickled jalapenos
I have some pickled jalapenos and banana peppers are tender and when I opened recently.They them.es want to know how my stay firm.Also jalapenos were so hot I could not eat it! Any advice would be very grateful. Thanx

Alum keep adding fresh fish and other marine animals.

With a warm bath tends to cook the vegetables a bit and is probably the cause for the "soft" texture. Taste wise, it's worth. This is the only way to get my cucumbers and jalapenos and sold like wildfire.
Some jalapenos are hotter than another, also from the same plant. If the seeds are black, chili is hot. This is not something you can control if you want before seed ...... pickled jalapeno
